LEBA is a friendly Society that promotes goodwill within the ‘Boxing Fraternity’ paying notice to the care and welfare, regardless of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, or Sexuality of all Boxers, Officials, and supporters, Amateur & Professional.
LEBA’s prime aim for the past 50+ years, has been to provide a social meeting once a month, and other events periodically, so that former, and present, exponents of the “Fight Game”, can meet socially and stay connected.
Separately, LEBA has a Benevolent Fund, which at the discretion of the Committee, primarily provides help to LEBA members that may be experiencing physical, mental, or financial difficulties.

Members General & Social meetings are held at 11:00 on the first Sunday of each month. The meetings are well-attended; the camaraderie, atmosphere, and all-around friendliness are compelling, making LEBA the Association where “It’s Nice to Belong“. A sentiment so overwhelmingly versed that it has become the LEBA motto.

We as your committee have listened to your suggestions on how we need to make changes to improve facilities for our members and this can only be done by a change of Venue with the right facilities.
Difficult to find a place in London on a Sunday but we have been looking and we hope you will all agree that this new venue will meet with our requirements as it offers:
♦ A Private Cellar Bar/Lounge that can seat up to 150 people.
♦ Exclusive to LEBA Members from 10.00am to 3.00pm (Official Meeting will still be from 11.00 to 12.00)

More important the Management and Staff of the PENDEREL’S OAK PUB want to make us very welcome and to have their facility the home of LEBA in London

Full LEBA membership is by registration and open to all that follow the ‘Noble Art’ in whatever capacity, from Fans to World Champions. Subscriptions are at present, just £20 per annum, renewable in January. All registered and fully subscribed members receive a copy of LEBA’s Newsletter, “Seconds Out” monthly. The Newsletter is distributed to at the meeting to attendees and to non-attendees by Post, or Email.
